Who Owns This Ford Consul Capri?
Featured
Who is the mystery guest in this episode of datbs? I will be giving you clues, so listen very carefully! This immaculate Ford Consul Capri was built in 1963 in a wonderful Ermin White colour.
The owner has spent a considerable amount of money getting this Capri to it’s current condition. All of the restoration work has been undertaken by the Consul Classic & Capri Owners Club who originally started the project with Robert King who sadly passed away during the project.
The car was then bought from Rob to finish the project with the new owner, who is now able to pass on the legacy of this wonderful car. The Consul Capri kept in a Carcoon and the condition is incredible and having spent the day filming with the car I have to say it is just like a brand new vehicle!
Who is the car appealing to?
The Consul Capri is an interesting part of Ford’s history as the styling is very American for a British vehicle of this period and it didn’t sell particularly well. Unfortunately the Consul Capri was brushed aside quite quickly by the Ford Corsair. But it’s sleek lines, fins and interior make this car a very special part of motoring history. So who is the lucky owner of this car? Well I’m not going to tell you here, you’ll just have to watch the episode in the link below!
